Step 1: Turn Off The Radiator And Let It Cool Down

Step 2: Protect The Floor

Next, lay down your towel or dust sheet underneath the radiator on the floor. This is to catch any dirt or dust during the cleaning process. This will make cleaning up easy and saves your floor from becoming dirty.

Step 3: Vacuum The Radiator Surface

It’s important you try and get rid of any dust from in, under and around thw radiator. If you have a brush attachment you may have better look reaching any dirt or dust so keep this in mind. Try and get into the fins of the radiator as this is where dust tends to accumulate the most.

Step 4: Dusting Your Radiator

For a thorough clean, you need to get the dust out of your radiator. Use a long thin stick or a radiator brush to get between those fins or ridges. Carefully slide the brush/stick back and forth to dislodge any dirt or dust. Catch any falling debris with your towel or dust sheet.

The next step involves taking your clean cloth/sponge and daming it slightly. Slightly dampen it with warm soapy water. Wring out any excess water to prevent any drips. Wipe down the radiator surface carefully.

Using a clean cloth/sponge, wipe away any soap residue from the radiator. Next, dry the radiator thoroughly with a dry and clean cloth. This will prevent any water spots from appearing.
